State Games Sign Up
This year, we have been asked to help the Cornhusker State Games with more events and assignments than ever before. The biggest things we have been asked to help with this year are that of delivering meals and water to every venue for each day of the games, and to assist with opening ceremonies.

For the meal delivery, we are hoping to have multiple volunteers taking a few meals as they fan out rather than one or two hams taking a whole bunch of lunches to lots of locations. This assignment starts at 10:00 AM. With enough help, this assignment should be over by noon (ish)

For the water truck we will have hams driving to supply all the needs at each of over 50 venues which dont have a supply of water already. At present, we are thinking about 2 shifts per day. Please let us know when you are available if you are interested in this assignment.

Our involvement at the Opening Ceremonies is still being discussed. At minimum, we will likely be assisting the coordination of the parade. We are trying to determine if we will be assisting with food and transport coordination during Sports Fest at Seacrest Field. We should have more specifics by June 1st.

Offering us information about your availibity using this form will certainly help with the assignment process. You can fill in the form on this page which sends an email to Barb, KD7ITK.
